This is sort of how I view Saul and Kim's relationship in Better call Saul.

It doesn't matter that they're catastrophically fucked up in many ways. They're always supporting each other. There's never drama or stress about there relationship. They just function in a real healthy relationship even though they do a bunch of unhealthy shit

It's very refreshing to see

I should have subscribed to pop culture detective years ago. Dude’s been cooking since he worked with Anita Sarkisian. Probably longer.

I’m a man, who was blessed to be the stay at home parent when my kids were little.I did work weekend nights as a pizza delivery driver for my buddies to help bring extra money into the house. I did all of the cooking, cleaning, and all the other stuff being a homemaker entails. I went back to school mostly online with a few night classes.

Never once in the 12 years that I was the primary caregiver to my kids and a homemaker did I feel less of a man. One of the best compliments I ever received was from some random mom during school pickup. We had just had our second child, so I was carrying the baby in detachable part of the car seat and wrangling my unruly five year old. This was a daily occurrence. Our oldest was a spitfire at that time and definitely wasn’t stoked on being an older sibling. After watching this go on for a couple weeks this random lady comes up my side and said, you’re doing a great job dad. I have never felt so validated in my adult life.

Love this.

We have domestic competence in our home, as well, and it's wonderful.

Celebrating 25 years this Halloween. A 50/50 split except when one needed to provide milk for a year.

On a different note, is that Dee from always sunny? I barely recognized her. She looks very different

Believe it or not, early episodes of Married with Children let Al keep his dignity. Didn’t last, but those stuck with me.
