My captions feature bas disappeared from my TikTok! I think it’s been gone for a while but I am just now realizing.. there’s also nothing about captions under my accessibility settings. I cleared the cache, which didn’t work, so I got rid of the app, which did not work. Has anyone else experienced this and found a fix?
I had this happen once, and some time later they just came back on their own. I still have random occasions where a recorded video just refuses to generate captions or give the option for it. I'm unsure if it's just a glitch!
Been in the same boat as you for months now, absolutely nothing works to fix it and I've reported it soo many times :(
This is what meta wanted! stay away from meta. When they finally realized we don’t care for there apps. We have the right to our freedom of speech and expression on the internet meta isn’t going to get my attention
So TikTok gets banned for everyone for a few hours before the 19th, and now it’s already back—thanks to President Trump, who hasn’t even taken office yet. It’s like they wanted people to panic for a bit and then feel indebted to Trump. Manipulative, almost as if it was all planned to boost his image.

Anyone else get it? It’s been happening to my older videos before last month changes and no reason given when taken down. I posted 10 videos of the same format and 1 gets taken down.
