Tiktok is NOT the same.
Went down so many dark holes last night on how the app has changed and who owns it or what is happening. The algorithm is not the same. Any thoughts on what is going on?

Mine is also different but I lost the app and have to use the web browser. I have to go to my following page to see people I follow. My FYP is all randoms and old videos when it used to show me videos of people I follow

If a red pill page comes up I notice it's defaulted to FOLLOW.

I've heard multiple people say this. I closed the app and cleared my cache and data after that trump message. It's never going to be the same.

Aside from missing the entertainment, recipes, and opinions on world topics, the thing I will miss the most is the free, unbiased, and uncensored news. Seeing riots in other countries and political news that google won’t even acknowledge. TikTok was the last form of news that was untouched by the government, elitists, and mainstream media.

how do I make tiktok give me normal search results again
i’m tired of recommended or suggested searches that are based off of your algorithm I just want regular search results. either It’ll be some random video with 30 likes or something that’s not even remotely related to what you looked up and if you move off of one of the videos that was under the search results it just disappears.
