Hemlo! I’m a bit new to Red Note, so recently I changed my profile picture but I assume it violated ToS hence I’ve been transformed into a mushroom as my default pfp.
I can’t change my photo for 7 days, but I want to ask if I just need to wait it out as it indicated? Also, is this is a relatively common occurrence and that I don’t have to worry too much about regarding soft ban on commenting, post engagements, etc.?
Yes - sometimes when the image you want to upload is either too big etc. it will default to this.
It is a bug they need to sort out, but I know the Rednote devs are working around the clock at this stage.

I’m considering dowloading xhs. I would literally just save things, use it as a 2nd Pinterest. I wouldn’t comment, dm, post, even like posts. I literally js want the inspo. I’d use mandarin and I wouldn’t save too quickly. I just need tips as to how I can’t get banned.

2I was just talking to someone then I got banned. I reached out to their customer support but they said I have to fix it in app and they mentioned that they can't disclose the reason why I was banned. I tried appealing twice, but tbh I don't even know what reason I should give except saying" I didn't even know what I did, I was just talking to someone then I got banned" both appeals were rejected. Does anybody know how to fix this? or what to say?
I am new to red note. I join groups where hobbyist musicians take turns singing/performing on their musical instruments. I do not know how to speak Mandarin. But I can speak English and Cantonese. One time, the host of the music group said Red Note sent her a warning that the group was speaking too much English. So then everyone quickly switched to Mandarin, at which point, I didn't understand anything other than simple things like "it's your turn to perform". Can someone explain to me what actually happens when you speak English on rednote? Is that a very dangerous ting to do? And what if I speak Cantonese? Some of the groups I join have cantonese speakers. Is speaking Cantonese also very dangerous on red note? I'm not sure what I can or can't do, and what happens if i speak too much english/cantonese. Any insight will help, thank you

I forgot all about it until she showed up on my pinterest, this time with the rednote ID: 541556782 I downloaded rednote but was unable to find her. (╥﹏╥) Does anyone know if she has a new account or what might have happened to her? I really liked her style and would like to follow her again if possible
