anyone else’s fyp just political over and over with no room for the variety you had before?

Mine is definitely still more political than I would like it, and I’ve been retraining all week.

No. Because whenever political stuff comes up I skip it and hit “Not interested”

It took a couple days after the ban to fix it but my FYP is always back to normal comedy TikTok

I’ve always used TikTok to get AWAY from politics, I just like watching funny videos, memes and animals

If you want politics gone just start hitting “Not interested” and going to your favorite creators or topics and like a lot of those and it will slowly fix your FYP over time

Mine is completely the same but I only ever watched content in Spanish mostly from Latin America so 95% of the people I follow are not in the US.

How do you retrain your algorithm?

Yeah the algorithm is different. Before the ban I had a balance of my niches and politics now it’s either one or the other niche or politics. Right now its politics but if I like or comment on something that has to do with a niche ill get more of that content on my fyp

No. My FYP is everything I enjoy because it took the time to redo my algorithm

If all you’re seeing are political posts that is on you. Take the time to look up videos you like to fix your “For You” section
