So I am getting a new phone and I did my research and most people have said they couldn't transfer the app and those that said they had a way all had iphones but I am getting a Samsung, so I am wondering if there is a way to download it again without a VPN. Or if anyone knows if it will automatically transfer over with Samsung or not.
Smart switch will transfer it over.

There are APKs that will work for Android! That's how I got it redownloaded to my phone.
If it's from a Samsung to Samsung then you can use smart switch and transfer your apps over.
I have an iPhone. My phone broke, but still worked and I used express replace to get a new one and tik tok did not transfer over. It just has the little cloud so it offloaded during the data transfer
I believe if you’re doing a transfer it will be fine.
I did see a lady get a new phone and she was able to get her TikTok back. The ap transferred over but she didn’t clarify android or ios. Maybe search on TikTok. I think there was a step or two to recover tho. Hope this helps.
Can you please update when you find out? I have s23 ultra and thinking about getting the s25 ultra but only if tiktok will transfer over
I deleted tik tok when it first got Banned bc I didn’t know it would come back next day but I’m glad I did and I’m over it . Red note is nice and it feels good to not have to stress over tik tok anymore
