So my phone just uninstalled Tik Tok because of my low storage (I never deleted it) and now I can’t get back into it.. has this happened to anyone else? I’m so pissed off

I’m assuming OP already knows, but for anyone else worrying this might happen to them. Go into your iPhone settings, then scroll down to storage. In the storage tab there should be an option call “offload unused apps”. Make sure this is disabled and you will be fine :). Sorry this happened OP

Just change your AppStore location to Canada Google a Canada zip code, then download a free vpn from the App Store; there are a few free trials ones, set it to Canada, then it will show the app on the App Store, redownload it; then delete the vpn and set your App Store settings back to your home address and your set.

Yep. I’m in the same boat. There’s a way to get it back (iPhone) but it’s like a lot of steps. lol. I’ve seen people do it, and the people who didn’t offload the app still have it. If I had confirmation from someone who successfully did it, I’d try. I guess you have to unsubscribe from “apple” and create a new iCloud account just to download the app. Then I assume you can log back into everything but… I’m that lazy.

Get a VPN and swap your complete location to Canada and redownload.

You could try restoring from a backup assuming your phone automatically backs up every day. I’ve never seen iOS delete an app that was used frequently to clear up space, usually it’s like two or three weeks of not using it

Search TikTok on your search engine (Google, Safari, etc.). Click log in, and it will give you prompts to download the app.

There’s not much confusing about this. TikTok is banned in the US. It’s off the App Store. The only way to get it back is to create a new Apple ID based in another country
