Metadata makes it so uploading from PC makes your videos have 0 views. How to fix this?

So my friend has a channel and he is complaining that he has to make his videos on PC and then upload them to his phone so he can submit them to tiktok via his phone because otherwise the algorithm destroys his video and he gets 0 views and no promotion.

Is there any way to spoof or edit the metadata so he can just upload the video directly from his PC without having to send it to his phone first?
