Not receiving my friends DMs

My friend and I have been sending each other TikTok DMs for several years. She asked me why I haven’t been replying to hers in the last few days but I haven’t recieved any from her. She is able to see mine but I haven’t been able to see anything she has sent since 3 days ago. How do I fix this? It’s not like I can delete the app and get it again because it is no longer in the App Store. Same for updates because again it is no longer in the App Store.

i don’t think there’s any way of fixing it 🥲 i’ve tried everything apart from obviously deleting the app and i’m still not seeing anything. even contacted tiktok support and received no response. i assume there was an update or something that we couldn’t get and now it’s not working
