Is everyone making overlay videos paying for Capcut plus, or is there another way?

I see a ton of overlay videos, like the "No you're not. You're not. Stop." guy. But TikTok Studio doesn't have "Remove background" on overlay videos, and Capcut has it as something you have to pay for.

Is everyone paying? If not, is there a way to remove the background of an overlay video I don't know about?
