Is censorship only an US thing, or am I lucky?

Every post I saw about the ban I was commenting "bye bye muricans", I got my comments removed, lmao that was hilarious... 

You can say anything to America and religion but one specific middle eastern country. You’d be ban for ever.

In Germany too, they delete videos exposing politicians.

I'm in the U.S. Someone posted on TT about how the orange clown is planning on changing the constitution to run for a third term. They were going on about how a third term for the orange clown would definitely mean the end of the U.S. I commented that the man would be in his 80s by then, and his diet is shit, so I don't think any of us need to worry about him being around for a third term. I got a CG violation for suggesting their savior and king of kings is not immortal, lol. The comment was removed, and my appeal was almost instantly denied. Not exactly sure what CG I broke since I didn't threaten or use any red flag words. I simply stated a fact. The guy is old, not in good shape, and has unhealthy habits. 🤷‍♀️

To be clear, I don't think the MAGA movement dies with him. I just don't think he's going to be around fanning those flames forever given his age and lifestyle.

I’m curious, are you going into your notifications to check that comments aren’t removed? I didn’t even notice my comments were getting removed until I went to that section of my notifications, it seems kinda hidden.

I’ve found TikTok likes to only target a select few with the rules and target that select few very hard. I reported a comment where a K-pop fan threatened to set off explosives in someone’s house because the person didn’t like K-pop and TikTok decided violent threat isn’t a violation anymore. I say ‘that’s a horrible thing to say you can’t threaten someone over not liking a genre. Leave them alone’ in response to the K-pop kabloomer and suddenly I have a strike on my account and they threatening to ban me.

Nope not only for the US. My guess is the algo flags you if you make some comments, and is then harsher in censoring you. I’ve had medium to completely innocent comments taken down, sometimes the appeal goes through sometimes not.
