TikTok coin exchange???

Someone gifted me a galaxy (1,000 coins) but when I go into my balance it is only letting me exchange the gift for 346 coins or to cash it out as $3.50. What the heck? Can someone explain why it’s such a small amount? TikTok took well over 50%
