I have been watching political debates on TikTok non-stop. We are so completely divided, it's insane to watch. Both sides are essentially making the same arguments with a different set of "facts". I'm convinced this will end in civil war.
Facts should never be in brackets.
There are measurable truths about reality.
We should be debating the best responses to them rather than what they are as such.
Not acknowledging reality is the definition of insanity.
How you're avoiding it is delusion.
Let's at least establish what is so, from there we can debate.
Yet, if a wrong conclusion becomes evident due to bad results we should pivot asap.
What do we actually want as a species?
No one wants to suffer needlessly.
Seems like a good place to start, how can we avoid widespread suffering?
I don't want to insist on answers despite my claims to authority.
We should collaborate and learn from mistakes.
This form is temporary too, truth is not.
It's crazy how there's no genuine conversation between either side. They'll bring up someone from the other side to get their perspective and then talk over them whenever they say something they don't agree on. This is both sides. I feel like this is just one of the ways trump has changed the discourse of politics. If you talk loud enough, you'll be the only one that's heard.
Im waiting for some public figure to drop the phrase "when there are less cases against priests than trans and gays for abusing minors, then we will allow the argument."
Get outside more. The real world isn’t like this. These people are making money off of discourse.
alot of them are really poorly structured. Hard to say if itnis helpful or not. The right wing ones are a little worse but the neoliberal ones are not really much better at all. I've seen a little progress on occasion in the neoliberal ones. The right wing not so much, any ground gained quickly retreated against and the right wing ones seem to be more disingenuous. But some neoliberial ones are certainly just as disingenous.
For the sake of stopping the current regime it is slightly promising. For the sake of longterm progress not so much.
Try to watch destiny or jubilee surrounded
It's part of the broligarchs grand plan. If they keep us divided, distracted and fighting with each other, we wont be looking at them.

Relax, it’ll take so much to get us to that point. Also it wouldn’t be a civil war at all, it would be Trump supported by like 10% of his sycophants, supported by like 30% if the hangers on, plus the US Military if the brass swings that way. What you have to look for is actual persecution of political adversaries, not just talk. If that happens leave the country. Head to Australia or NZ,Tasmania, you want to stay as far away from the Americas and EU as humanly possible.
