I started posting on that acc again but in a completely different niche and get many views but no likes when i show these videos people i know they love it and think my old content was cringe. is it bc the people who like my old niche get the videos of my new one or is it more that the content is ass? i dont want to say the niches but its completely a different direction
Congrats, you've officially confused the tiktok algorithm more than a grandpa trying to use snapchat. Your old followers probably signed up for one thing and are now getting served something completely different. Imagine following a cooking page and suddenly getting conspiracy theories about lizard people. But hey, if people you know love the new content, maybe it's not ass as you say, maybe TikTok just needs time to realize you're no longer in your "cringe era" or, worst case scenario, the algorithm is holding a grudge like an ex who still has your hoodie.
