Private account story views

So I just made this silly little account where I can post fun and personal videos for just my close friends to see. I only have about 12 follows (I’m all mutuals w them) but my stories have much more views. I made this account so only my friends can see these stories, so if other ppl can view them, there’s no point. Can someone let me know what happened here?
