Can 'people I know' see my tiktok account?

I have a fairly sized faceless tiktok account at around 100k. But all the time I've had it there has always been recommendations for people I know IRL under 'suggested accounts'..

all of my settings don't allow for tiktok to sync my contacts so why/how does tiktok keep suggesting people I know?

Is my channel being suggested to them?

I was thinking about putting more of myself on the channel too so having it be a bit more private would be great.
