How does this scam work?

Context:

I’m a hobbyist wildlife and landscape photographer. A couple weeks ago I was contacted on TikTok by the account in this photo saying they wanted to purchase some photos. I googled that guy and he’s a legit curator. He has a website, social media pages with 200k+ followers, linkedin, even shows up in a news article or two. This TikTok account has all the same posts on it as his IG account so at first glance I thought it may have been legit. BUT, nowhere on any of his other social media or on his website is there a link or mention to a TikTok account which made me suspicious and makes me think the TikTok account is probably run by a scammer. I asked him which photos he wanted to buy and what he was offering, and he sent that bottom message in the screenshot. The crypto payment, not to mention the monstrous amount of money he's offering just screams scam to me but I wanted to see if anyone can tell me how the scam actually works? Have any other small creators been contacted with similar “offers”? Thanks.

As for a message from the IG account
