Am I wrong? I post relatable content on TikTok. No I’m not in it for the views but most of the time some of the stuff I post makes me giggle lol. I’ve noticed that people repost or favourite the video rather than liking it? Is it a case of “I don’t want you getting more likes than me” or what.
Different actions for different reasons. I only like videos that truly speak to me or make me laugh very hard. I only bookmark if it’s something I need for later or know I’ll want to rewatch later. Reposts for me are rare. Must be absolutely hilarious or super beneficial or super sweet.
I just told my 18yo that their generation is too greedy with their likes and shares. He agreed. He said it was the general attitude.
I don’t like some that I see even if I do like them because it’s not some subject I want the algorithm to show me more of that

Tik Tok is based off of Multi Level Marketing , NO advertising at all. They are asking their followers to pay for them making content. Using the Emojis, and Rewards, to pay for content creation.
I hear you, I have made content to amuse myself, and most of what I make is to amuse myself and others who are like minded.
Honestly sometimes I just forget lmao. And a lot of the times I’ll go to my bookmarked vids and half of them I didn’t even mean to I just accidentally hit it

It's because tiktok sucks and most of the material doesn't really deserve it.
No ...that's weird to think people aren't liking it cos they don't want you to get more likes than them. That's kind of a self absorbed point of view. It's better to have people repost than like anyway, gets the videos out there more.
