Agreed.. It's not the same as before the shutdown. I guess we will have to wait until somebody makes a new, version free from the coorporate slop again.

My tik tok is filled with political content even though I’ve never tried searching for politics on it. I only downloaded it to follow deaf content creators

It is YouTube for ppl with ADHD mostly. I only see a few memes recycled endlessly. If it weren't for reruns on those old Tex Avery cartoons I wouldn't watch it. I can't believe I found a channel that plays these, either.

Switched to US so...also ppl are extremely burnt out on there. I finally had to leave...was soul crushing

Tik tok has been fine for me, still same vids of interests that I always have been getting.

My FYP isn’t what I would like it to be but it hasn’t been that way either since 2022. I don’t run into AI garbage and such but I do not like the trends today. It just feels like the app has evolved and adapted into being IG Reels 2.0. Especially with the rise of certain political bubbles on there and a certain man being elected 🫠
