Why does TikTok ignore this report?

A few days ago I reported an inappropriate gif using the TikTok report system and it still has been saying it is being reviewed after 3 whole days. It just makes me confused that this is the case and that the comment had thousands of replies questioning how TikTok hadn’t even taken down said comment. Is there a way of at this point removing said report from my account history because if TikTok isn’t going to do anything about it, I at least don’t want to have to see it anymore?
