Moving from the US to Japan and the currency changes?

I'm just curious if anyone would know, if I'm making money from TikTok in America and I move to Japan is there a way to still be paid out in USD from Japan if I keep my American bank account? Google says you can, but I'm wondering if anyone here has made the move to Japan from the US that would know for sure. I've heard different things on this
