How to change comment feed on my own account?

This has annoyed me with my own account since I created it and can't seem to change the way my video descriptions and comments are displayed. Instead of just having a video description at the bottom of the screen and that's it (and you open comments from the menu on the side), I always have the description and all comments scrolling across the bottom third of the screen.

My other account doesn't have this issue and I don't see it on any other video I watch on the app. I've scoured through all my settings and just can't seem to find a solution. Anyone know how to change this display to normal?
