Odd Blocking Glitch - Appears Unblocked To Other People

Ok team, this is a weird one.

I blocked someone in late January 2025.

I didn't use my account much until this week and I intend to start to promote a venture on it.

My partner has them as a contact. This morning when she looked at my profile it showed as no mutual contacts. Which is correct. We are both using for separate ventures so keep friends and familay off platform.

Then later this afternoon:

1. They showed as a mutual contact to my partner
2. The actual blocked person had me down as looking at their profile at some point in the last 30 days. I have not, but I have since found out that even checking on who is blocked can count as a view
3. But the even more weird part. To me there were never unblocked. After a short priod of time, guessing a few hours, it went back to normal. They cannot see me and my partner is down as having no mutuals again.

Thoughts on this? What happened, and can it happen again?
