I'm afraid I don't have any advice, but just wanted to let you know you're not alone! My account was hacked last week - woke up to emails showing my details had been changed and I had been logged out. When I tried to log back in, it said the account didn't exist. They deleted all my videos, the people I follow, changed my username, and contact details. They have now replaced my videos with scammy Tiktok Shop videos. I have sent multiple reports - support tickets, emails to creator shop, X customer support, and have reported the account as impersonating me/fraud and scams/other. I have had no response whatsoever. There surely must have been a data breach, as the hackers managed to bypass my 2factor authentication with no bother and there was no hacking of my email account. The only response I got was to my direct report of the profile in which they said they could detect no violations.
I'm devastated, as I'm sure you are too! I feel so vulnerable - all my personal details were on there and I'm worried they'll try to scam my followers. Not to mention all the hard work they've deleted - all my artwork videos. I've had to spend time emailing brands I had collabs due for and I feel like this is damaging my reputation. I can't bring myself to start my account from scratch and I'm shocked Tiktok doesn't care more about the widespread breach of security that is occurring on their platform.
