Comments format so bad (WHY)

Why is the tiktok comments format or ui SO BAD???? Why do they make it so hard to follow a simply thread in the comments. If somebody writes a comment and then replies to their own comment to keep adding stuff, it should be all be together and u should be able to expand it JUST LIKE ANY OTHER APP They make it so hard to actually read comments. Why is that???

People shouldnt have to put (1/4) (2/4) etc. So that u can actually follow wtv they have to say. Not to mention sometimes u have to keep scrolling to find the rest of their comments bcz other ppls reply to their comment gets in the way. Its so dumb
