Can't add sounds to my tiktoks

I filmed a video of me singing Monsters by Meg and Dia. When I posted it I added that song as a sound and muted it in the editor. Then when I posted it the sound was no longer there and it said original audio. How to I get it to keep the sound and not change it to original audio
