How exactly do people make money on TikTok?

I wanna pick an app to start making content on to make money,so when people make money by just making viral videos, does the money come from ads like on Youtube?,or does Tiktok just give people money for just making videos that get a lot of views?

Going into something like content creation only with money in mind, is a bad mindset to have. If everyone could make money from it, they would. Go into it with the intention of making good content and improving over a period of time. That in turn “might” get you some money.

Most get paid through the creator rewards program, which also leads to brand deals. But definitely need some followers for that, not a shit ton but of course, the more the better. Also tiktok shop, lots of verified creators have a showcase even though they never make advertising videos.

Gonna correct the other comment here....views and followers do not ever automatically mean money. All of those numbers do is help you get to the point of making money, nothing more.

Content creation isn't a good way to earn money unless you have a bunch of followers/subs.

Instagram payout pages are for the very elite subscribers, and Meta has been phasing them out.

I make about $30/day with the business affiliate marketing page. I ask for samples and companies send me stuff. Then I made a video and give them the code. Unless they only give 1% commission and then I don’t give them the code. It’s not bad. I get about 1 product a day and I have 14 days to post.
