TikTok has felt way more laggy/slow for a while

I know for a fact it's not my connection, I've thought that it could be my device but honestly I never had such problems before, it kinda started after the TikTok ban, like before I really didn't have any issues and the app was fairly fast to load. It doesn't matter what battery percentage I'm on, or anything else I've tried doesn't really change it either, it just feels SO slow. Like going in the app, takes a really long time to open up, then the comments take really long to load, a lot of the times when I try scrolling it loads for a somewhat long time. And this has been a constant, like every time I try and use the app, sometimes the app even closes on its own which has never happened to me on this phone with any other app, including some games which I assume are heavier than TikTok, and it's actually a big reason why I don't use it as much anymore. Again, I know it could be my device BUT this doesn't happen to me in any other apps - I'll admit sometimes it can happen that a app is a little slower if I've been using my phone for a long while and battery is low but never with this frequency and again, never experienced a app closing on its own like that. I don't really have much of a purpose to post this... I just wanted to know if anyone had noticed this too or if it was just me that felt the app was a bit slower?
