Why do I keep getting these videos where if you pause and perfectly align the basketball at the "STOP" area, you will immediately get flashed with poorly censored cartoon "material" IYKWIM? It only appears for a split second so TikTok can't take it down.

Because you either keep watching the video, you comment on the video, or liked the video. On top of that you can tell TikTok to show you less content like that or even block the channel entirely. You do have some control over what it shows you.
