is this right? tik tok shop

what do i do. before sending the shorts i bought back, i confirmed with an agent it would go back to my original payment. my refund processed today and it went to tik tok balance. i immediately went to chat to an agent and this is what they’re telling me. i just don’t understand. i work for my money i don’t necessarily want it to go back to tik tok. they are a huge company. 42 dollars??? i want that in my account. why can’t they lose out on a little bit of money and do what they told me they would.

That doesn’t make any sense. I ordered NYX makeup once through TikTok shop. They didn’t end up having the products I ordered and refunded me automatically sending a message even before that the order was having a delay and if it didn’t ship by X day I would get a refunded. I can’t remember if I paid via Apple Pay or not but it shouldn’t make a difference…

I mean i have gotten a message asking me if I want it on tiktok shop balance or the original but it's been awhile that's so weird I always get mine on my original payment of Google pay.

I just had an order that was probably a scam. Shop disappeared after ordering and the tracking on the package didn’t update past the 13th. I was going to wait it out for a bit to see if the package showed up but Tik Tok took care of it before that. I didn’t have to do anything. Tik Tok automatically refunded me to original payment (Apple Pay). I just got a notification they had done that one day.
