Anybody else getting notifications of comments not directed to you??

Lately I’ve been getting notifications of replies from other users but these replies aren’t even directed to any of my comments.

Like if I comment something and, B, replies to me. But then someone else, K, replies to B, I get that reply in my notifications.

I always think they’re replying to me when they’re actually not and it’s so dumb. Is this a glitch or some sort of update I just not noticed??

How do I stop this?

I hear you loud and clear... I made a comment to an account I follow, and have been hit with thousands of notifications in a day. I get notifications for likes, I get notifications for comments directly to me, and comments of other's having a conversation under my comment.

I wish I could remove myself from the thread... it's maddening!!!!
