anybody’s fyp too local all of a sudden?

my fyp used to very well aligned with me, but now its barely that. Lots of tiktoks from Singapore suddenly just poured in and when i tried searching and scrolling on topics i like, it barely worked. I dont remember doomscrolling on SG tiktok (im not even singaporean myself). I also don't want to switch accounts as I've built a good amount of followers. The not interested button worked, and then it didnt. I still get like 6 SGtiktoks out of 10 scrolls. The stuff in the tiktoks are super bad too, cringy memes that feel made by 12 year olds. Anybody else experiencing something like this?

UPDATE: I REFRESHED THE FYP. ITS NOT WORKING.

Yes. I'm getting smaller tiktokers (which is perfectly fine) and LOTS of businesses near me.

My fyp used to have whatever videos I loved and found interesting the most like last year or two years ago, but then it started having local and random videos. I didn’t notice that until like a few months later, and when I was getting only local, random, and inappropriate videos on my fyp, I started getting picky about what videos on TikTok I enjoy the most. And then another few months later of being picky about certain TikTok videos, which was still last year, I decided to give up on TikTok.
