I’m sort of newish on TikTok. I see a lot of content creators say the following:
Engage from bottom up.. does that work or matter? Or is it a way for o people to get views, comments and likes?
How about watching videos all the way thru?
How about commenting “I want to go viral” on how to go viral on videos so tik tok can push your content out?
They basically said TikTok needs to be told what you want to do with the app.

engaging does help, but not in the way that a lot of those posts make it out to be. i’ve gotten a couple very kind mutuals in the same niche through that method and we do like to comment, like, share each others posts, etc. so it helps. but it won’t be the end all be all for your account, the posts will still be.
keep in mind, those type of videos ARE those people’s content for making money. so when they are telling you to do those things to “help you,” they’re predominantly helping their own video statistics and you’re doing that work for them.
