This person messaged me asking if they could use me as some form of art or something and they’re saying they’re gonna pay me for it I know I probably should gullible ASF but I just wanna make sure this is safe and I’m not gonna do something stupid

They’ll send a fake check. Block and ignore.
This isn't even a believable scam. They're going to pay YOU to do an oil painting? YOU get compensated $200 for the oils used?? When you give them your name or email address, they'll use that information to sign up for things and open accounts in your name etc. Everything is always a scam, especially if you're not the person initiating the contact.

Scam of course. I always screenshot "their" work with the real artist and send it to them lmao they delete their accounts pretty quick
