Why are all TikTok on my fy suddenly in German??

So for context, I am German and I use the app for a few years now usually my For You page is completely mixed with English and German content but since yesterday all of the recommended content is in German. That bothers me, there are so many cool English speaking creators and the algorithm usually brought them back via fy, now nothing. I can still access foreign content via search or my faves, but what happened to my fy?

App language is German and always was, never was this a problem, I always got mixed content.
