It says 1813 on it so it's a Wars of Liberation Iron Cross for the The Napoleonic Wars.
This was over 100 years before WW1, hence it had a completely different meaning to the one you think it has.

I mean - it is still the literal emblem of the German armed forces or Bundeswehr and this one appears to be a reproduction from a much earlier war......

It's the one with the swastika embedded in it that you want to worry about.
