How did that Connie Francis song that's all viral on social media somehow get credited to Neil Sedaka and Howard Greenfield?

On one of Francis' albums, "Pretty Little Baby" was credited to Stirling-Nauman. ASCAP lists a song credited to Bill Newman and Don Stirling, without any associated performers, along with another song where the listing says to contact ASCAP, which of course won't bring a quick response because... who knows why? Sedaka/Greenfield did write "Stupid Cupid," which some years ago Neil performed without prompting at a concert.
