Unpopular Opinion: I feel like people are only targeting women with overconsumption shaming

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for calling out people who are genuinely contributing to overconsumption and pollution but everytime I see people "calling it out" it seems like they're only targeting women, specifically women who just like to collect things.

Like, yes, someone who buys every piece of makeup a the drop of a hat just bc of a trend or is constantly buying makeup for the sake of buying something is contributing to overconsumption, but I see more women who enjoy COLLECTING makeup, or who's jobs are literally dedicated to makeup (i.e. beauty influencer or makeup artist) being accused of overconsumption. This goes for all things, like clothes, blind boxes, figurines, books, etc.

I don't feel that it's a waste to collect things that you adore, love, and cherish, and will continue to do so for the entire time you own it.

I can't recall a single time I've ever seen a man's account have comments about overconsumption, even when they are collecting the exact things the women who are being accused of are. It's really weirded me out since people have started talking about overconsumption and I've never seen anyone else talk about this.
