tiktok put me in timeout

logged into tiktok one day -> it told me i need to verify my age -> have to give them either my government ID or my CREDIT CARD? hell nah -> so they think i'm underage now (i'm 21 and they've had my real birthday for years??) -> they start enforcing 'sleep time' and i have to jump through hoops to use the app past 10pm since im now a child -> now i also need to put in a passcode to watch videos -> then can no longer dm individual people, but can look at previous private dms and send to groups only -> now i can't send messages period and they've all disappeared from my inbox

each of these are separate events that have progressed over two weeks. wtf is going on 😭 also how tf does my credit card verify my age?? that seems sketch asf to me
