tiktok algorithm???

So lets say i started posting movie/shows edits last month (fresh acc) and over a month i got only 7 followers and like 1.7k likes overall ( around 30 videos), views going from 700 to 1k, one video managed to reach 3k. Meanwhile on youtube with the same videos i already got 924 subs, way more views/likes. Should i just try posting on new tiktok account?
