Tik tok analytics

Hey so I’ve recently been posting quite a bit on tik tok, and I’m curious about how the system works. I posted a video yesterday that has 1,186 views, and 243 likes. That’s. 1 like for every 4.8 people that see it, which I feel like is decent. This morning thought, the likes on that video haven’t really gone up at all. I posted a second video yesterday that didn’t do so good, but this morning the likes have doubled from 30 to 60. I posted both of the videos in the same hour. I guess what I’m asking is how does the algorithm work?
