Wtf is happening with the algorithm?

I’ve noticed that the videos I get on my feed are from a few days to weeks ago. Like it’s rare to come across freshly new videos

same thing currently happening to me.

I've noticed that I'll get the same video every 3-4 videos.

Not the same creator's videos, the exact same video from the same creator.

On the other hand, I've been only getting videos with like 2-50 likes and no comments on my feed lately.

Your search bar determines what your algorithm is.. also the things you like, respond to and subscribe to as well

Yeah, I'm shadowbanned as shit! I have 4.6k followers and I'm getting a fraction of a fraction of the views I did when I only had 1k. I'm not a qvc page, I don't have a pair of double-d's, I don't look like brad pitt, and I'll have a tag on my toe before I pay for views!

Ok but am I the only one getting heavy maga content, they're using the song soul survivor and it's like 3 slides and the last slide is reveal that they voted for trump and the hashtag holyfknairball . No matter how many times I've said not interested or blocked the creators TikTok says it'll show less videos like this then turn around and show me 5 more within an hour. It's gotten to the point that I don't really scroll anymore, it's definitely not the TikTok of 2020. And lemon8 kinda sucks, and red note is ok but doesn't have much about current politics in America. So yeah, I'm mad.

Timing also plays a big role, look up best time to post on a certain day. It changes all the time too
