Funny, I thought we couldn’t gate keep spaces?

So women can’t go into bars but trans women can go into bathrooms????

I think you are taking this from the wrong perspective. There are straight women who have had negative experiences with men. So, sometimes, they go to lesbian/queer bars. Do you see the problem with this? A straight woman who is unattracted to women goes to a lesbian bar, where there are other women looking for a partner. There is a potential that another woman comes up to said hetero woman, thinking that she is there because she is queer. She gets immediately rejected because this woman is straight. Not only this, but queer people go to queer spaces looking for a sense of shared community. If you are not apart of this community, it can be a negative experience for both parties. There are times and places, of course, for non-queer and queer people to interact. I don't think a queer bar meant for queer people is one such place. Please do not compare trans women using the bathroom as equivalent to hetero women voluntarily going to gay bars.
