How do I turn off notifications?

I have all my notifications toggled off. I can't stand people's replies because you could say you don't like pancakes on this app, and get endless responses where people call you slurs and send you threats. Also, if any of my comments blow up, my inbox gets straight up spammed.

I've been trying to figure this out for months, but I still can't. What am I missing?
