Why won't my liked videos and ppl I follow show up on the tiktok website.

I have a private tiktok account but I cant download the app, so I use the website. Every time I like a video or try to follow someone it just un does it, I dont know why. it happens Every. Single. Time. If anyone knows how to fix or the cause of this plz let me know.
