Viewing profiles on TikTok

Right so I've been blocked recently by my ex but every now and then (not every time) when I go back onto the account there is for about two seconds a blocked profile icon if that makes sense- the grey background with the white silhouette. It only appears for a few seconds where the profile view button is before either switching back to the footstep icon or another account profile. Do we reckon he is stalking a little bit or it's a glitch?? Obviously I know that when you block someone it won't show that you've viewed the profile so I can't tell if it's just my TikTok loading up someone else's picture or if he has came to look at my account and then blocked me after and TikTok quickly catches up to that.
