How I grew to 10k followers, WITHOUT needing to go Viral

Just wanted to share a quick breakdown of what worked for me while growing my TikTok page in the marketing/creator niche. No viral reels, no giveaways, no follow-for-follow stuff.

Here’s what actually moved the needle:

1. Niche clarity - I picked a tight niche which wasn’t saturated, and actually had the chance to hit 10K followers. (e.g., "Quick marketing tips for solo founders").
2. Content buckets - I stuck to 3–4 types of content: • Carousel tips • Talking-head reels • Results/testimonials • Tweet-style one-liners
3. Posting consistently - 7x a week. No excuses.
4. Making every reel hook-heavy - If the first 1–2 seconds didn’t make someone stop, I scrapped it.
5. Comments + DMs - I manually commented with other accounts which were in my niche daily. This drove real, organic reach.
