Likes disappeared from tiktok

I haven’t ever heard of this happening before. Basically a TikTok I made a few months ago had gradually accumulated about 8800 likes. On my profile you could see the total number of likes across all of my TikToks which was somewhere in the 10k range from memory. But today, I noticed my total number of likes across all videos was just over 9000, and when checking the aforementioned TikTok, it had reduced to just over 5000 likes. The views are the same, but more than 3000 likes have just vanished. I’ve refreshed my page, restarted my phone etc but the issue is still there. It’s not a big deal, but I’m just confused as to how/why it’s happened. It’s not a case of misremembering things either because I was anticipating that TikTok being so close to hitting 10k as I was quite proud of it. Has anyone had anything similar occur?
