I can't use TikTok Lite because it says it's not available in my region. I'm from Mexico.

Today I started receiving supposed internet errors when opening TikTok Lite. I have a good internet connection but the app just won't connect. Then I received this message saying TikTok Lite is no longer available in my region (I'm from Mexico, i tried open the app on another phone, and everything works fine there).

the message says:

"Due to local laws and regulations, TikTok Lite is not available in your country or region. However, you can still manage your account settings in your profile. To continue watching videos, use TikTok."

The regular TikTok app don't working for me and this app keeps giving me this message. Any ideas on how to fix it, or is this a sign I should get a new phone? I've already tried clearing the cache and data so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
