Disgusting videos when searching for things

i don't use tiktok myself but my partner does and we have stumbled across a very disturbing phenomenon: whenever you search up something broad and rather (aka "filter", or some popular sound effect and shit like that) of really questionable nature pop up (sexual, violent and gory) I feel like this is a very, very, very concerning issue considering how many children are on this platform... Has anyone else encountered this?
